Calculator inputs

Calculator entries are processed in your browser to update results. This version does not save those entries to a site database, and the fields are not designed for names, account numbers, tax identifiers, addresses, or documents. Do not enter sensitive identifiers into any field.

Technical data

The hosting provider may process ordinary request data needed to deliver the page, such as IP address, device and browser information, requested pages, timestamps, and security logs. Retention and location depend on the provider used for the public site.

Cookies and similar technologies

The calculator code does not currently set first-party cookies or browser storage. If analytics, advertising, consent management, or affiliate measurement is activated, those services may use cookies, local storage, pixels, or similar identifiers. A consent notice should be shown where required, with choices appropriate to the visitor’s region.

Advertising and third-party data

If Google advertising is enabled, Google and its partners may use cookies or other identifiers to deliver, measure, limit, and personalize ads, subject to consent and applicable law. They may receive browser, device, approximate location, page-view, ad-interaction, and consent information. Calculator field values should not be sent to advertisers or analytics as event labels, URLs, or custom parameters.

Affiliate links

Some outbound links may contain referral identifiers. The destination can learn that the visit came from this site and may use cookies or similar technology to attribute a later signup or purchase. The destination’s own privacy policy governs information submitted there. Affiliate compensation does not change calculator outputs.

External links

Following a link takes you to a third party with its own terms, privacy practices, and security. Review those policies before providing information. This site does not control a third party’s collection or use.

Choices and rights

Browser controls can block or delete cookies, though some site or ad functions may be affected. Depending on location, visitors may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, or an explanation of processing. A public privacy-contact inbox must be added on the Contact page when the domain launches so those requests can be handled.

Children

The site is intended for a general adult audience making personal-finance decisions and is not directed to children under 13. It does not knowingly seek children’s personal information.

Changes

This policy should be updated before a new analytics, advertising, form, newsletter, or partner technology is activated. The effective date above identifies the version presented here.
